Randy Glasbergen began his professional cartooning career at the ripe old age of 15. While still in high school, his cartoons were published regularly in major magazines such as Saturday Review, The Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger?s Changing Times, Saturday Evening Post, Cosmopolitan, Weight Watchers, and Better Homes and Gardens.
Today, Randy is one of America?s most widely and frequently published cartoonists, appearing in magazines, newspapers, greeting cards, calendars, medical journals, textbooks and advertising worldwide. More than 25,000 Glasbergen cartoons have been used by an endless list of clients including Microsoft, Harvard Business Review, Physician?s Weekly, Curves, Planet Fitness, QVC, Funny Times, Medical Economics, Woman?s World, Classmates.com, Nightingale-Conant, Anthony Robbins, Jack Canfield, American Greetings, Hallmark Cards, Recycled Paper Products, and many others around the globe.
Randy is also the author of three best-selling North Light Books about the business and art of cartooning: Getting Started Drawing and Selling Cartoons, How To Be A Successful Cartoonist, and TOONS! More than a dozen collections of Randy?s cartoons have been published in book form in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal and China.
Randy lives, works and diets in a creaky old Victorian house in a very small town in rural upstate New York.
