Quokka Island

The comic strip is based around the antics of two main characters, Scamp the Quokka and his best mate Parker. Both are orphans and live with Gran and Grandad the resident lighthouse keepers. Inspired by our local Rottnest Island, the strip features the Island’s other characters, Ranger Kurt, Rusty the fisherman, Tomboy Reef a mad keen surfer and Craypot Cloughy, amongst others .

A common thread in the strip is the ongoing love–hate  relationship Scamp has with the selfie obsessed tourists from the mainland.
