Beyond the Black Stump is Australia's fastest growing comic strip - published in newspapers and magazines in every major capital city in the country.
The comic strip won the Gold Medal Award for "Best Comic Strip" at the 2003 Coffs Harbour National Cartoon Awards, and the "Comic Strip Cartoonist of the Year" at the Australian Cartoonists Association's Stanley Awards the same year.
Sean Leahy is the political cartoonist for The Courier-Mail in Brisbane.
He began his cartooning career in 1974 on The Darling Advertiser at sixteen years of age and the following year on The West Australian at seventeen, making him, the youngest metropolitan daily political cartoonist in Australia.
