During the great Depression of the 1930s, Alan Foley started selling rights to poetry from his home in Sydney. In 1939, he formed a company named Alan Foley Pty Ltd, which represented a few local and overseas companies. Brian Foley joined the business in 1960 after working for the Sydney & Melbourne Publishing Company and the Sydney Daily Telegraph. In 1973, Alan Foley passed away and the business was then managed by his son Brian.
Alan Foley Pty Ltd was restructured in 1988 and became Auspac Media. Combined, the two companies have been running for nearly 80 years. In 2001, Brian Foley embarked on his well-earned retirement after 40 years at the helm of the family-owned business.
Auspac Media has been entrusted to Bernie McGuinness and Karen Mandrakas, who purchased the business in 2001 from Brian. After working with Brian for many years, Bernie and Karen were inspired by his family's integrity, efficiency and personal service, and continue their mission to supply the very best of local and overseas features.
"Our goal is to syndicate the most creative talent from Australia and overseas to our clients in the publishing industry."
Auspac Media is now delivering fun and interesting interactive puzzles and mobile content. We are committed to providing the best mobile entertainment, specifically made for mobile devices.
The long-running tradition of supplying the best feature content will continue. Auspac Media's goal of great features and personal service with integrity remains the company's key priority.
